Neutrogena oil-free moisture combination skin moisturizer : Review

Hello People! Post-Diwali wishes to all...Comment below if you had tons of sweets, fun & makeup like me :D :P haha.. well after the best of family times we need to rush to our workplace and here's a quick pep that will help you love your skin at work throughout winters.
MOISTURIZING: oh well you might have heard of it before but IT is really important guys and worth howling for. Some of us still tend to be careless about it. I'll have a post later on the blog for all the moisturizing essentials for whole body. Getting back to the review, I wanted a moisturizer which also serves me the purpose of primer. Let's find out if this one did...

Details of the Product:

Neutrogena is an american brand for skin care, hair care and cosmetics. This brand is known for its products being safer on Indian skin than other drugstore cosmetics brand and they claim to be dermatologically tested. Personally, I prefer this brand only when I want a safer product for my sensitive skin otherwise they don't offer anything new to try on!

Packaging:

"Minimal" might have been the word they kept in their mind while designing the packaging of  this product. This one comes in a rectangular white soft cardboard box holding a white hued bottle of hard-plastic. It's a pump bottle and I completely loved the whole of it. It is travel-friendly as the pump closes by sliding the head of the bottle towards left and never spills anything out of it.

Claims:

The claims of this product is clearly stated on the bottle itself. Let the pictures do the talking :P

Directions:

Use 1 pump and apply all over face and neck. Use morning and night, alone or under make-up. Avoid contact with eyes.
What I would like to suggest here is use this as a makeup base..it works nice that way and use a separate night cream. Talking about the quantity it took 2 pumps for me for a single use, it actually depends on your face size and condition.

Price & Availablity:

299 MRP (for 118ml). I got it on a discounted price from Flipkart. You can check out other online stores if they have it on a lesser price. It would be better to buy these kind of products during festive season on online sales as they are not easily available in the market.

My Take on it:

I prefer this product as a great pick for daily-wear. It has a smooth texture (nor too thick/neither runny) & is white in color. The sturdy white plastic matte-finished pump bottle is a plus point making it travel-friendly & hygienic. It requires 2 pumps for single application(depends from person to person). It doesn't have any fragrance, so it wont cause any problems to sensitive noses. On applying, this doesn't really requires any amount to set in  and forms a layer kinda thing on skin but is transparent and nothing to be afraid of as the layer isn't too thick and lets your skin breathe. It controls oil for a 2-3 hours and then the T-zone starts appearing shiny. It combats the dry areas of the skin very well. It serves the purpose of a primer+moisturizer . It is a light weight product. Wearing this daily to college/work under makeup will be the best use of it.

Likes:

  • saves time+money+labour of a primer and moisturizer. Just 2 pumps and you are good to go.
  • non-comedogenic hence doesn't clog pores
  • hypoallergenic and fragrance free: true to its claims
  • gets absorbed eaisly and doesn't leaves a white-ish cast.
  • doesn't contain parabeans
  • alcohol free
  • justifies the price at which it is offered
  • lasts very long: little product is required at a time
  • unisex product

Dislikes:

  • some might dislike the texture as it forms a layer over skin
  • one needs heavy moisturizing once in a week while going for this product daily.

RitzyRating: 4/5

I will repurchase it once its over but this bottle has lasted me for like 5 months as i don't use it on a regular basis and there's still a long way to go.
P.S. I appologise for dirty bottle :P I kept this in my purse and my compact broke :/

Know all about coding : Websites for beginners

"Education is training of brain on how to think, not learning of facts. -Albert." Hola! I have been coding for approximately 9 years now and do i know it all to do it by myself? No, no one actually does. Everyone learns on the way and it stays like that almost forever. Honestly, its not even humanly possible to remember each tag/command/method when you are coding bilingual. I have always been a self-taught person in most of the areas in my life, including my very dear programming. Other than books, these communities have really helped me a lot. So, i'm listing down few websites that can help you start with coding( if you are a beginner) or help you with advance debugging( if u r already on it!). StackOverFlow This is basically a programmer's very own google. Stack over flow is the largest programming community across the globe, created by Jeff Atwood and Joel Spolsky in 2008. Whatever you want to know, someone might have already posted the query and you&

Heyo!πŸ‘‹ Long time no see. Fall Color Palette: My picks

Hey, Autumn is almost here and these are the colors that I am looking forward to more than the others this year: Brown: Something about this hue has been on my mind for months now. Maybe its the 'brown is the new black' effect or just the grounding properties it reflects. Midnight Blue: The depth in this awakens my Scorpio intensity, its mystic, mesmerizing and brings out my eye color better.  Viva Magenta: Color of the year. Well, it's technically a mix between red & pink but best of both worlds, right? Tan: Couple of years ago, I went on a walk wearing tan boots. The person accompanying me also wore the same colored boots. During the walk of matching footsteps I realized, hey! I kinda like this color now. I have thought about it every fall since then. Forever Pink: Just cz it is a 'fall color' post, doesn't mean I am going to leave pink from it. Pink stays! weather its in my wardrobe or on my mind. Do you know how hard it is to let go of a pink when its th
